Leading westcountry design engineering company celebrates 21st birthday with new website
SFM Technology Ltd, one of the West’s leading design and manufacturing engineers, is celebrating 21 years in business with the launch of an ambitious new website. The company has built an enviable reputation for its expertise in developing and providing engineering solutions in a number of particularly demanding environments including aerospace, automotive, Ministry of Defence and transportation. It has become a major supplier of engineering design services to AgustaWestland , Airbus UK and GKN Aerospace Services over the last 10 years and is continuing to grow on the back of its specialist skills.
Founded in 1985, SFM has achieved most of its substantial growth over the past 10 years through a combination of internal expansion and acquisition. In 2002 the acquisition of Advanced Tooling and Norton Engineering helped create the much expanded machine division which forms a key part of its business today. The company is rightly proud of its skills base within a team capable of providing the flexibility required to deliver cost-effective solutions involving any combination from engineering prototype development, design and development, product enhancements, machining and manufacture.
